My Name in the Sisterhood:
Raegeena Wit Envy

Mistress of Propaganda, Mistress of Rituals

I was born in:
Little Bonanza, Utah
50 miles from town, 20 miles from water and 2 feet from Hell !!
My favorite color:
Diamonds, they come in every color.
My favorite beverage when I'm out:
Grey Goose Gibson UP – because after three, I can’t say it anymore. Or Evian, honey this is the desert.
I first heard about The Order from:
Honey I do read, and I’m old. I’ve talked to a few sisters while they were rolling about in SF many years ago. I just didn’t realize until recent investigation of their web site, that they, dare I say, have become such an admirable and enviable international organization.
I believe I have a calling because:
Well I don’t know that I have the calling. There are so many phones ringing in my head I could be wrong.

In the last few years I’ve had three close friends come out to me as HIV positive. Safer sex practicing, knowledgeable humans… but after 20 years this process doesn’t seem to be any easier. The “Shame” is as strong as in the mid 80’s when my partner and I were doing volunteer hospice work with AFAN. I’ve just became incensed about the “stigmas” that still define how HIV people interact with the people in their lives and the community as a whole. It’s the final Closet, and it’s time to work on creating an environment that can eliminate a need for doors. The ignorance and shame are the true killers and safer sex education is more important than ever (love the PLAY FAIR handbook). So when Sister Loosy Lust Bea Lady mentioned applying for mission status. I thought what a perfect vehicle, (very possibly more like hell on wheels), to educate, re-iterate, and obliterate the ignorance and intolerance that exists in Sin City and while we’re at it, what the hell, why not the world!

My experience in the Community:
I met my partner in 1986 at a training course to be a volunteer for Aid for AIDS of Nevada (AFAN). We participated in hospice and many programs for over six years. I have assisted with The Black & White Ball, a community event for the AFAN Food Bank for most of the 19 years it’s been in existence. I have personal ties to most of the community organizations as I interact with them for donations from my business.
My goals as a member will be:
To be an athletic supporter, I mean active supporter, (no I don’t) in helping the foundation to create the context in which the Sin Sity Sisters can flourish and become a welcome and driving force in the Las Vegas community. To bring “PLAY FAIR” education to all of the community. Also to address the issues of shame and guilt and how that effects our ability to have integrity and love in our lives. And just a dash of political merriment and mayhem so that the rights of all the people are not set aside because of the fear and ignorance of the vocal few.
Additional information about me as a person includes:
I want to have a personal relationship with my charitable work again, and as I was approached about this adventure the voices that came into my head always started the conversation with “what will people think?”. Well, if my 40-plus year old ass can’t get past that, then how in the F#%@ ! can I create change and movement in the community. So I chose to be part of this mission with heart, because I believe that to think is to create.
