 My Name in the Sisterhood:
Sioux St. Semen Sloth. I created my “sister” name to be somewhat reflective of whom I really am. I identified myself as Native American and Gay long before either became popular.

Mistress of Collections
I was born in:
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and West Hollywood (I got “raised” a lot there). I’ve been living in Las Vegas for the last twenty years. I am one of two Dowager Nuns in the Order.
My favorite color:
Dark green (I just realized that’s kind of military).
My favorite beverage when I'm out:
Water or Coke, I’ve been through more than my share of alcohol!
I first heard about The Order from:
The early eighties on one of my weekend visits to S. F. I really had no idea what it was about then. It just seemed to be a popular topic of discussion over cocktails at the Elephant Walk.
I believe I have a calling because:
After many years of self-indulgence, I no longer concentrate on just myself. I have the ability to evaluate and formulate and the “community” in Las Vegas is one that needs energizing. When our local Sisterhood founder Sister Loosy Lust Bea Lady first presented the idea and the goals of the Sisterhood to me, I realized that this was a great time for some of us to really band together and make a difference!
My experience in the Community:
I have been involved with the Ryan White Planning Council in Las Vegas for several years and I am currently the chairman of same… However, as many of us know, that venue has some very restrictive guidelines. I’ve also lost many friends and one partner to HIV.
My goals as a member will be:
Assist with creating ways in which to get services and/or funds to real people and to make the public at large continually aware of what our community needs. I have a LOT of life experiences (yes I am old). And some individuals actually have benefited from sharing of it.
Additional information about me as a person includes:
I get to be one of the oldest members of our Order! I live in close proximity to the strip with two dogs and a cat. Oops, almost forgot, I also have a partner who I refer to as Mr. Bunny. We’ve been together for six years. I also really like water. I got certified for Scuba about eight years ago and I dive often. I have great hopes for our success as part of the Sisterhood!
