As Sister Hope N’ Grope of Safer Sinning, I am able to continue the outreach work I started doing professionally over ten years ago. I find endless joy in going into bars and talking to total strangers about safer sex, HIV and STD testing and healthy relationships. As a Sister, the words are sometimes louder, the behavior is more edgy but the messages are the same: Sin safely! Get tested! Respect yourself and those you love! The work I’ve done for the past five years as a Sister feeds my soul and hopefully helps the community as well. Every condom we hand out is blessed, every word of advice sacred, so do not worry about who you are, just be safe in what you do! And if you have questions about reducing the harm with sex and/or drugs, don’t be shy, come find me, I love to talk dirty!
