WHAT IS IT?

Would you wear a red dress for a cause?
"Rough, Tough, And Red All Over" is an opportunity to release any stigmatic guilts* you might harbor in the windmills of your mind.  Join the Sin Sity Sisters, Q Vegas, Night Beat, Las Vegas Gay News and The Tiger Lily in supporting the Sisters AIDS Drug Assistance Program,(SADAP).
The night will start with the VIP RED Pre-party at the hip Downtown Lounge at 7:30PM.  Enjoy a live dj,  silent auction, and art works generously on loan from The Erotic Heritage Museum.  The Downtown Lounge will be offering a special Sister SINtini to aid in the stimulation of your senses.
Red is the required color of attire for entrance into the VIP event at the Downtown Lounge, but remember kittens, if you want to enter the main event, "Rough, Tough, And Red All Over", at Beauty Bar you must be in a RED DRESS!
Rough, Tough, And Red All Over is at Beauty Bar with the red carpet rolling out at at 10:00 PM.  Slip past sister security in your fabulous Red Dress and enjoy sin-sational DJ Axis spinning, stage dancers, and other sister surprises that will pepper the night.
Costume Contest:
This year the sisters want to take it up a notch. We dare you to get outrageous!!!! The costume contest will recognize the most creative and inspired outfits of the evening, with $500 in cash prizes for the best of the best provided by Las Vegas Gay News. Sister Gloria-Areola and a panel of special judges will pass judgement on who's efforts were Rough, Tough, And Ready.  And why wouldn't YOU want to win? So get going on that red dress.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

What to wear
All attendees of the "Rough, Tough, And Red All Over" are required to wear a red dress to reflect the solidarity of the community in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

VIP RED Party at Downtown Lounge
At the Downtown Lounge ANYTHING RED will gain you access to the pre-party, but only the pre-party.  If you plan on attending the main event at Beauty Bar you must honor our request and wear a red dress.
Red Dress SINsation at Beauty Bar
It is MANDATORY that you wear a red dress to the main event at Beauty Bar.
What qualifies as a red dress?
A red dress is defined as the following: a dress, formal to slutty, cloth, mesh, ribbon, sheer, leather or latex, etc. Sarongs, pareos, togas, kilts, skirts with tops, wrap dress, etc., etc.... It is not mandatory that your chest be covered, only the nipples of females.
No pants or shorts
Absolutely under no circumstances will you be allowed entrance into the main event at Beauty Bar in any pants or shorts.  Regardless how fabulous the outfit, how big your basket or your wallet!  That's why we're offering the VIP Red party at Downtown Lounge for those who just can't get past their stigmatic guilts* and manage to put on a dress.
It's NOT drag
You are not required to express yourselves with make-up, heels or other feminine accessories, unless that is what you desire. This is similar in mood to a school uniform with a twist.  It allows for personal expression, but creates a unity and breaks down social barriers that unconsciously exist between people.
Sister Red Dress Barn at the Beauty Bar
Feeling challenged by the required red dress detail?  The sisters offer the Red Dress Barn, inside the Beauty Bar as a possible solution.  The Barn is stocked with a variety of options for the "what to wear " challenged. While supplies last, a variety of sizes and solutions will be available for purchase for a nominal donation. Slip into the changing booth, check your inappropriate clothes until you leave, then go party with the rest of the savvy revelers.
A coat check will be available for a nominal fee
Where do I get a red dress?
We strongly suggest that you visit one of our sponsors such as The Rack, Studio Lites and get a fun red number now!  You can also borrow a dress from your mother or friend, try Buffalo Exchange,
Bad Attitude Boutique, Star Costume, Bare Essentials, or any of the fun shops on west Sahara. Wearing a red dress and caring about your fellow humankind is hot!
Where to park?
There are parking structures such as the Neonopolis around the sponsor bars.
*Stigmatic Guilt
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence define a stigmatic guilt as any socially held belief that limits our ability to accept ourselves for who we are and how we choose to express ourselves.  Beliefs such as, men don't wear dresses, I'll be ugly, I'm too heavy, skinny, bow legged, etc..., fill in the blank... The Sisters express ourselves in the outrageous fashion that we do as a reminder to our communities that social stigmas on personal choices are unnecessarily held beliefs that create stress and inhibit perfect self expression and the ability to self love.
Don't delay, tickets to the main event are $30 the day of the event!!!  Get registered, tell all your friends and get your RED Dress on! You don't want to miss this!
