Monkey Pox virus is related
to the Small Pox virus.
Monkey Pox symptoms are similar to Small Pox, but milder and rarely fatal.

Symptoms include: Fever, Headache, Muscle Aches, Backache, Swollen Lymph Nodes, Chills, Exhaustion
and a Rash that can look
like pimples or blisters

The rash
can appear
anywhere
on the body
including:
Mouth,
Genitals
and Anus.

The rash will blister, scab
and fall off over a 2 - 4
week period. The person
will remain contagious
until the rash has fully
healed and a fresh layer
of skin has formed.

Monkey Pox
spreads thru
physical
contact with:
- Infectious
Rash, Scab
or body
fluids.

- Personal belongings like
clothing that have made contact with sores.

- Respiratory droplets and
Pregnant people can
spread to the fetus thru
the placenta.
